Organist Welcomes Heaven's Endless Scream

Organist Ayelet Shevchuk sits rigid at a tarnished copper organ console with yellow foam plugs stuffed into his ears, both hands clamped to the keys while blood drips from his nose.

Jovana Ceausu locked the terminal dish onto the Paradise frequency at midnight. She was measuring background hiss beyond the rim, but the dish caught twelve gigahertz of dry, unending shrieking.

"It is not symbolic," Ceausu said. "Something out there is in raw agony, and it has not paused once."

The Station Synod dismissed the horror. Organist Ayelet Shevchuk established that the carrier wave maintains a perfect, unbroken B-flat. For fifty years, the cable chapel had fought orbital damp that warped its copper pipes. The signal now feeds straight into the bellows, locking every tube to the cosmic broadcast.

"The Almighty does not play flat," Shevchuk said. "We used to spend three shifts a week scraping grease from the pedals, and now heaven holds the note for us."

The tone makes listeners sick. Gums bleed after ten minutes in the pews, and the deacon passed out during the psalm. Yet Shevchuk has lengthened daily worship to six hours, reasoning that lowering the volume would insult the maker's lungs. The finding also confirms where souls go upon death, though station staff prefer to discuss the mechanical savings.

The choir wears ear-plugs.

The scream continues.
